I am 76 years old and I find that Laura is sensitive to my aging body when giving directions for each pose. She is able to adjust for all sorts of injuries and surgeries with the main focus to keep us moving and staying strong. But along with being an excellent teacher, Laura has created a feeling of family and inclusion amongst all attendees. I never hesitate to recommend her to my friends and family.

I met Laura Kinney, my yoga instructor, in 2015. Since then, I have taken: Gentle Yoga, Yoga for Every Body, Yoga for Good Posture, Yoga for Functional Aging, Yoga & Ayurveda for Healthy Digestion and the Yoga for Osteoporosis workshop. Laura has consistently presented well-researched & professional courses that are focused on individual needs and abilities. She inspires and challenges us on balance, strength and flexibility by offering stretching and breathing poses that are appropriate for me and my body at this stage in my life.
I especially appreciate her work because I believe my physical coordination has improved in spite of inherited osteoporosis & other such aging issues. I have regained 2" in height, I can now sit cross-legged on the floor, as well as do a figure 4 pose on my back. My whole attitude about growing older has improved because of Laura's influence & experience. Her sincere & personal approach is a real plus.
